Cardiology is a medical subspecialty dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of heart and blood vessel disease. Our doctors and their staff, along with their peers, have worked to develop a state-of-the-art cardiovascular center to serve this community and its surrounding area.
Our physicians are board certified and are members of the American College of Cardiology. They are with St. John’s Regional Medical Center, Joplin, Missouri. We do not provide any services, inpatient or outpatient, at Freeman Hospital.
Many cardiology and cardiovascular evaluation procedures can be performed within the office, such as electrocardiogram (EKG), ambulatory electrocardiographic monitoring, echoes, stress testing, carotid ultrasound with Doppler, nuclear imaging, pacemaker monitoring, cholesterol management, Coumadin management and assistance with smoking cessation. The availability of these procedures during your initial evaluation provides you and your physician with much of the information necessary to make an accurate diagnosis and to formulate a treatment plan.
The following information is made available in order to answer some of your general questions. Please review it prior to your appointment.
